TrueUp credit

One error on your credit report can cost you thousands of dollars.

One in five U.S. adults has an account in collections. A specialist reads all three bureaus and puts it in writing in three days.

Why it matters01/05

Your report decides more than you think.

Low credit does not charge you in percentages. It charges you in months.

ABuying a home

A young couple standing in front of the home they just bought.

The same house

$350,000 over 30 years, fixed rate

26 months of mortgage payments that buy you no house.

$168 more every month. At the end, $60,519 more in interest for the same house.

The exact numbers

A $350,000 loan, 30-year fixed. With good credit the payment is $2,289 (6.83 %); with low credit, $2,457 (7.54 %). That is $168 more every month and $60,519 more in interest at the end. Those $60,519 equal 26.4 of the first payments; we draw 26, rounding down.

Each square is one $2,289 monthly payment.

BBuying a car

A woman at the wheel of a new car, holding the key out the window.

The same car

$20,000 over 60 months, same term

20 payments more for the same car.

$134 more every month. By the end, $8,039 more for the same car.

The exact numbers

A $20,000 car over 60 months. With good credit, 6.30 % and $389 a month; with low credit, 19.42 % and $523 a month. That is $134 more every month and $8,039 by the end. Those $8,039 are 20.6 payments of $389; we draw 20, rounding down. The squares in this row are smaller than the ones in the house row because a car payment is worth almost six times less than a mortgage payment; even so, the house block understates the real damage rather than overstating it.

60 payments of $389 you would make either way. The 20 in the last row are the extra ones.

CRenting without a co-signer

A family with their young daughter packing moving boxes on the living room floor.

The same apartment

In New York the deposit cannot exceed one month

Nearly 2 months of rent up front, just to get the keys.

With good credit you move in with one month’s deposit and nothing else.

The exact numbers

In New York the maximum deposit is one month of rent. With low credit the landlord asks for a guarantee, and that guarantee costs between 70 % and 90 % of another month. Between deposit and guarantee, 1.7 to 1.9 months of rent up front. We do not turn this into dollars because that would mean assuming a rent, and we do not assume one.

With good credit

With low credit

The lighter band is the range: the guarantee costs between 70 % and 90 % of another month. We do not average it.

DHere, in the county

A woman sitting on her bed at night, reading account statements in front of her laptop.

In Bronx County

Adults with at least one account in collections

31 in 100 neighbors carry an account in collections. This is not other people’s problem.

Across the country it is almost 23 in 100. Right here, 31.

The exact numbers

Adults with at least one account in collections: 22.7 % nationwide and 31 % in Bronx County. We draw 31 doors out of 100; a person cannot be drawn in fractions.

Each door is one person. There are 100.

These are market figures, not a promise of results.

How it works02/05

The work starts with your analysis.

  1. 1

We talk and pull your report

You tell us what you want and by when. You get your own credit monitoring in your name, so you always have direct access to your information.

  2. 2

We audit all three bureaus line by line

Our agents review your entire file and hand you a report listing every negative item you carry and which ones enter the dispute plan. You walk away knowing exactly what we are going to fight and why.

    In 3 days

  3. 3

    You decide if we continue

With the analysis in hand you know exactly what will be challenged and how. If it makes sense to you, we start.

  4. 4

We go to work on your case

Your case is built piece by piece with our own method, on the facts of your file and nothing else. We let you know the moment there is movement on your report.

Why us03/05

Credit repair is full of fraud. That is why you arrive skeptical, and you should.

Who works your case

The bureau says no

What they’ll tell you out there

“It’s 99 a month, we’ll see how many months you need.”

“We guarantee you 100 points. I’ll put that in writing.”

“Just say it was identity theft, that account comes off fast.”

“The system sends the letters automatically, you don’t have to worry.”

“If the bureau verifies it, that’s it, nothing more to do.”

What we tell you here

$699 total. It’s published on this page, before you talk to anyone.

Nobody can guarantee points: the bureau and the creditor decide that. We answer for the work.

That’s a federal crime and you’re the one signing. We never do it, not one account.

A specialist audits all three bureaus line by line and builds your case account by account.

That answer says what they verified, how and with whom. That’s what builds the next round.

Pricing04/05

One fixed price, in two payments.

Full program

$699

Once you have your analysis $399 No payment comes before the full analysis is in your hands. It arrives in three days.
Fifteen days later $300 The rest of the price, split so it does not land all at once. By then your case has been worked for two weeks.

Three-bureau monitoring is separate: you sign it up and pay it in your name, and it stays yours.

Questions05/05

What people ask most.

When will I see results?

We cannot give you a date. Federal law sets the window bureaus have to answer a dispute, and that window, together with what each bureau and each creditor answers, is what sets the pace of the case. No one can guarantee you a date or a number of points. What is in writing in your agreement is what we are going to work on, with which documents, and in what order.

What if the bureau says everything is verified?

That is exactly where a case gets decided, and it is what we are built for. When a bureau answers without backing up how it verified, that answer becomes our next tool. We know how to read it, what is missing, and where to take it. Our job is to not let that answer go unexamined, and we do not drop your case at the first round.

Do I have to pay anything to start?

Yes, one thing: three-bureau monitoring. You sign it up and pay it in your name. That money never passes through us and the access stays with you even after we finish.

With us, the first payment of $399 does not come until the full analysis is in your hands, and that is three days. The remaining $300 comes fifteen days later. It is one price of $699, split in two so it does not land all at once.

Do you work in Spanish?

The entire process. In Spanish we walk you through what we found, what will be challenged, and what each bureau answered. Letters go out in English because that is how the system works; we handle that, and you follow every move from your portal.

Can I cancel?

Yes, and we give you more room than the law requires: five days from signing to cancel in writing, at no cost and no penalty. Your analysis arrives in three days, so you have two full days to read it and decide. The cancellation notice comes in writing along with the contract.

Let's start with your analysis.

A specialist audits all three bureaus and hands you everything they find in writing. With that in hand, you decide.

Financing

We also run a method of our own for accessing financing. It is a service separate from credit repair, with its own cost, and it is handled by request only. It starts with a 30 minute video call to review your case.
